JULY 2016: I have started work on a new script, writing for and with director Pawel Pawlikowski, our third script together The script is about the life of Russian writer Eduard Limonov, adapted from the book Limonov, by Emmanel Carrere.

My German-Turkish film HASRET (Yearning) - a kind of supernatural expressionist documentary about Istanbul, has recently won the Best Documentary award from SIYAD, the association of Turkish Critics.

I have now completed my novel CATHEDRAL: only editing and revisions are necessary, a process I hope to finish by the end of the summer.

Meanwhile I have further work on ONE EYE THE MOON, an original script being developed with Warp Films and the BFI. The script is now pretty much ready and we are beginning to look for locations and prepare the project for the next stage: casting and financing.
